The annual festival is on Saturday, July 15, 2017, from Noon until 6pm on the school field ME9 7LB.
Organised by Newington Parish Council in conjunction with Demelza House Children's Hospice, which lies on the edge of the village, it's one of the largest events of its kind in Swale.
A family-friendly, community event with loads of free attractions including children's fancy dress and magicians; the annual tug-of-war tournament; five live bands; birds of prey; dance and gymnastics displays; chainsaw sculptor; WWI living history re-enactment group; custom cars display; balloon modelling; funfair and sideshows; crafts area
The Village; BBQ; real ales; ices; tea and cakes tent, and plenty more.

Admission is £2, under-16s free.
The school does not permit dogs (except guide dogs), smoking, or alcohol that's not been bought at the festival.
