There can't be many people who have visited Sittingbourne and not seen Dale Howting on his infamous bike parked up along the High Street or outside of Homebase every single day of the week rain or shine, so an introduction is hardly necessary, as he already enjoys something akin to celebrity status.
I caught up with Dale recently and he told me how much he wanted to reach his goal of a cool £250,000 by his 80th birthday, and I must say I hope I enjoy his state of health and spirit of mind if I make to that age.
I'm sure he will manage or even exceed this feat with our help so when you next pass, say hello and help make is dream come true.
Next Target
Dale's current target is to reach £250,000 by 11th September 2014 (his 80th birthday) please help him reach that target. This represents 40p from everyone in Sittingbourne. An easy target one would hope.
