Tonge

Tonge is located immediately after Bapchild if travelling out of Sittingbourne to the east and it is quite deceiving in some respects. Whilst in terms of population it is very small indeed, perhaps the least densely population parish for it size in the area, it actually covers a far larger land area than most people think.

Stretching from the river Swale in north right down to Kingsdown in the South it is I think the longest parish in the area.
 
It is most famous for its Mill and golf course these days, but it does have its own church and shares a school with Bapchild.
