Battle's Over: Mark 100 years since the end of World War One at this free, non-religious evening event for the whole community attended by Paul Auston, Deputy Lieutenant of Kent. It includes a WWI exhibition; special tribute by the village school; music; bell ringing; outdoor light display and more.

Refreshments available.

The village's 'End of the War' beacon will be lit at 7pm. Organised by Newington History Group which acknowledges grants from Swale Borough Council's WWI Fund and local councillors. Light display by arrangement with tripleaevents.co.uk.
