Sittingbourne and its surrounding villages have a wealth of history to explore and there are many books and websites that provide extensive resources in this respect, some which you will find links to further down the page and in our publications section. 

Whilst we can never offer the level of detail and insight in to our past that has been made available by all the committed professional and amateur historians who have worked on the aforementioned books and websites, we do hope to be able to offer some individual points of interest and local living memories or our more recent past.

Obviously as with anything approaching the scope of an undertaking such as this we will be relying on the goodwill and support of other people. Therefore if you have anything you’d like to contribute, however small, we would be delighted to hear from you.
