Today Zoe and I visited our first craft fair this year, the ever popular Vintage & Makers Market, which has become a regular fixture in Bapchild running periodically throughout the year.

Whilst I cannot lay claim to having attended on every occasion this event has been held, we do attend regularly and therefore I was really quite surprised at just how many of stall holders we had not encountered before, either at this market or others in and around Sittingbourne and the outer lying villages.

I love the fact that in general, the majority of stalls are manned by local people who have a real passion for what they do. You can nearly always find something that you will never have seen before, due to the unique individuality and creative talents of local people. Who knew we had so many gifted and talented people in our local community.
