On Monday evening the Sittingbourne in Bloom Committee held its annual prize-giving evening in the URC Hall, Central Avenue.

Councillor George Bobbin, the Mayor of Swale, presented certificates and trophies to gardeners in ten different categories.

Malcolm Moore, Chairman of Sittingbourne in Bloom, said the town should be proud of the high standards achieved by many of its gardeners this year.
