Despite a miserable start to the day, with rain literally only stopping minutes before the event began, Rodmersham School’s Circus themed Fete was a huge success.
Friends of Rodmersham School spokesperson, Tracie Larking told us “We had so much fun and raised over £4000 today, a fantastic achievement considering the weather.”
“We have amazing support from the school, parents and locals.”
“Our ultimate aim is to purchase a mini bus so the children can attend events such as sports events, cricket and football tournaments etc. However, we have also paid for the two year 6 teachers to have Forest School training which will be amazing for the children.”
“Its an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.”
“What a wonderful experience for the children to have this as part of their daily routine especially as we have an orchard off the field.”
