I caught up with Dale Howting, the whistling postman, briefly on Saturday and he told me how much he wanted to reach his fundraising total of a cool £250,000 by his 80th birthday, and I must say I hope I enjoy his state of health and spirit of mind if I make to that age.

I'm sure he will manage or even exceed this feat with our help so when you next pass, say hello and help make is dream come true.
