Family Homes, a Swale based lettings and estate agent, are not only celebrating 25 years in business but they have also substantially expanded their Sittingbourne offices in West Street.

Sunil and Gita Popat

Owners of the business Sunil and Gita Popat told a packed room of guests at their grand opening, that Family Homes had started from humble beginnings working out of a bedroom before expanding into the garage and eventually moving into offices. Today the business has two offices located in Sittingbourne and Faversham.

Gordon Henderson and the Family Homes Team

Gordon Henderson also recently presented Family Homes with their own award for long service at a dinner, held in late March 2014, which was organised by Sittingbourne and Sheppey Portcullis Business Club.

On presenting the award, Gordon Henderson MP commented “I’m always delighted to be able to recognise the achievements and longevity of a local business. Here is yet another example of how Swale businesses continue to grow, adding to our local economy and communities.”

It's so good to see another high street business expanding in Sittingbourne.

And not forgetting the cake I never had chance to enjoy
