Pupils of Milton Court Primary Academy, showed off their artwork recently in a competition held in association with Family Homes.
Accompanied by staff and members of the parents’ teachers association, the children representing each year spoke proudly about their pictures entitled ‘family home’. The collection, that had been shortlisted by the school, included the use of pencil and collage in their creativity and design.
The lucky winners were: Michelle (6), Charlie (7), Connor (8), Aimee (9), Caitlyn (9) and Danielle (11)
Sunil of Family Homes, said “It’s very rewarding to recognise the talents of children and young people in Swale and we enjoyed making this competition special for the pupils and staff of Milton Court. It was great that pupils were able to visit the branch, so that we could hear first-hand what inspired their pictures. We are looking to support more schools and would be interested to hear from schools in Swale.”
The winning pictures were displayed in the window of Family Homes, 25a West Street, to allow the children to show and talk about their artwork to family and friends.
