Freaky fun at the Forum

Yesterday I popped along to the Forum Shopping Centre for the first of their Spooktacular half term events. The event, which I should add is completely free of charge, offers lots of fun for younger children.
Many of the children who came along yesterday had taken the time to come dressed in their scariest costumes and believe me some of them were very scary indeed.
There was a Safe Trick or Treating event where young visitors could spend time hunting around the Fourm searching for spooky posters hidden in shop windows, and then pop in store to collect a free sweet treat from a member of staff.
A face painter who had a near permanent queue of children was adding the finishing touches to their spooky outfits.
Micky the Magician amazed visitors with his spellbinding spooktacular tricks and offered lots of games for the children to get involved with.
And if all that wasn’t enough there were also Halloween craft activities which were also very popular and a game involving sweeping a balloon around a course which a witches broom.
Monica Rana, Centre Manager at The Forum Shopping Centre
“Our annual Safe Trick or Treating hunt is always a hit with local parents as it gives them peace of mind knowing their children are enjoying Halloween in a safe and secure environment. “
“Today was a great day in The Forum, thank you to everyone who dressed up and got involved in the Halloween extravaganza.”
“Don't forget to come back next Saturday for more spooky fun for little ones”
As mentioned above there is a second event next Saturday 27th October for anyone feeling left out.
