Could love be found on Sittingbourne High Street on Valentine’s Day?
Local artist Dean Tweedy put this to the test today by offering a free unconditional hug to passers-by whilst blindfolded with amusing results.
This was certainly very entertaining to watch from the side-line as shoppers who could clearly see something of interest was taking place, first approached out of curiosity and then suddenly made a beeline for the opposite pavement.
Expressions from those passing varied from faintly bemused to utterly terrified, but Dean’s faith was soon restored with several hugs from passers-by.
