Ghoulish delightful trills for shoppers at the Forum

The Forum Shopping Centre kicked off its ‘frighteningly’ good half term fun on Saturday with the first of a two-weekend Halloween extravaganza.
ArrivaClick's Spooky Scavenger Hunt where children hunted for ghostly minibus posters hidden in shop windows and, in return for a sweet treat proved very popular with shoppers and the ‘witch’s broom toss’ a ghoulish obstacle course also proved equally good fun.
The Forum Shopping Centre’s charity of the year, Demelza Hospice Care for Children were busy promoting their exciting family themed Halloween event ‘The Monster Dash’ which takes place next Friday 27th October at More Park in Maidstone. The features a 5k fun run through four zones, including a Gunge, Halloween paint spray, UV bubble and UV foam zones.
On Saturday 28th October they are repeating the above for adults (recommended aged 16 plus) at Goddington Park, Orpington.
The Halloween half term fun continues or Saturday 28th October as the centre will be hosting a free creepy crawly roadshow. Between 11 am and 4 pm shoppers can get up close with a number of critters including giant spiders, snakes and snails – perfect to help get children into the spooky spirit just in time for Halloween.
There will also be a fancy dress competition, free adult’s face painter and a Safe Trick or Treating event will be taking place throughout the day where ‘little monsters’ are able to hunt around the centre and find spookily themed posters in shop windows in return for free sweets.
