A.E Barrow & Sons offer chance to win a Giant Toblerone
2
May
When A.E Barrow & Sons acquired the whopping 4.5kg giant Toblerone bar via a supplier they were not entirely sure what to do with it, until Harrison Reynolds, the 18 year old son of boss Simon Reynolds hit upon the inspirational idea of using it as a prize to boast their social media presence.
Harrison who is currently studying 'A' levels at Borden Grammar School, came up with this ingenious bit of marketing which relies on participants of the competition liking the A.E Barrow & Sons Facebook page. However they also need to like and share the post on Facebook to spread the word evermore further afield.
Now I'm not adverse to a nice bit of chocolate, but I was allowed to hold the Toblerone bar and boy it is a lot heavier than you imagine, in fact if I say that’s the equivalent of four and half bags of sugar you should get the general idea.
That’s an awful lot of chocolate and if you want to see it first hand you can of course visit their shop at 38A the high street where they have it on display.
If you want a chance of winning this unusual tasty prize, you will need to visit their Facebook page and like the page and then like and share the their post promoting the competition.
The competition runs until the end of May when names will then be put in to a hat and the lucky winner picked out!
Please make sure you visit their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/aebarrowandsons to enter.
