Iwade Village Market

Sep
Just popped along to the Iwade Village Market which is well worth a visit if you have not been before.
We had quite an in-depth discussion with Tony Jeffrey who had a store selling honey and beeswax candles all made locally in Newington.
I really liked the unusual candles made by Anjie Evans of Evanseent of Gillingham www.evanscent.co.uk
We also met with a lovely lady named Joanne from Upchurch who tempted us with her impressive range of preserves at which point we could resist no longer and walked away with a delicious jar of Caramelised Red Onion Relish.
There were a healthy selection of stores ranging from local butchers, fruit & veg, bakery, beer and handmade cards.
The market is next on Sunday 13th October.
