Faversham & Mid Kent’s MP launches community awards

For those on the east side of Sittingbourne and who are within the Faversham and Mid Kent consistency, Helen Whately officially launched her Unsung Hero awards on 31 January 2025.
The awards will celebrate the people, organisations or businesses who contribute towards making the constituency a better place.
Helen will be looking for nominations for those who make a difference, big or small. There are no hard and fast rules about what counts. It could be an individual, a group, an organisation or a business. They might be doing something for the community that helps people, nature or animals, improves our environment, looks after our heritage, makes things better in the here and now or looks to the future.
