Leading Kent property developer Quinn Estates steps up once again as main sponsor of Sittingbourne Football Club.

Quinn Estates is a long-standing sponsor of the football club, and throughout the pandemic has supported them with much-needed funds to keep the venue operating and to prepare for its return to the football season.

As the most proactive mixed-use developer in the South East, Quinn Estates is committed to supporting and enhancing community facilities across the region. Creating a legacy of community improvement is evident in the sports facilities, play areas and open spaces created by the group, alongside its ongoing significant support provided to local groups.

Maurice Dunk, Chairman of Sittingbourne Football Club, added: “This past year has proven to be challenging for most, and the continued support of Quinn Estates has become a lifeline for us – they really are the best sponsor we’ve ever had. They go above and beyond just donating funds, as the entire team is committed to the development of our local communities and keeping clubs like ours running. It’s this kind of sponsorship that keeps the sport for all types of teams and leagues going.”

Mark Quinn, CEO and Chairman of Quinn Estates

Mark Quinn, CEO and Chairman of Quinn Estates, said: “We are passionate about sport and leisure in local areas, so are proud to continue supporting Sittingbourne Football Club which sits at the heart of the community.

“It has been amazing to see how our sponsorship allows the club to grow and attract new talent over the years, and we look forward to seeing the continued impact of our funding.  From everyone at Quinn Estates we wish Sittingbourne FC the best of luck for the season ahead.”

Sittingbourne Football Club has been a focal point of the local community for over 130 years, which ties into Quinn Estates’ passion for promoting sport and leisure in the areas in which they develop.

Established in 1886, Sittingbourne FC is part of the Isthmian League South East Division. Since 2013, the club has played at Woodstock Park, which has a capacity of 3,000.

Oh dear the club won’t attract many supporters with the most disliked man in Sittingbourne’s name on their shirts.

Wow, thats so philanthropic! Quinn Estates sponsorship of Sittingbourne FC has nothing to do with the vested interests he has in the town's local plan, or the c11,000 houses Quinn Estates wants to build, destroying the rural space and villages around the town, or the 675 house development at Wises Lane by Quinn Estates, that was approved by questionable Sec of State Robert Jenrick MP.

It would be an easy mistake to make, if one joined the dots to assume that cash for favours (Tory party donations and sponsoring local sports teams) were at play here...not that I am in anyway suggesting that is the case...
