Sittingbourne in Bloom are hoping to make it all the way to Gold in this years South and South East in Bloom Competition.
Yesterday members were hard at work tidying up the Mill Way Planters, clearing out the weeds and adding diorama (Angels fishing rod) and geraniums for summer flowering.
Swale in Bloom Coordinator, Ali Corbel told us "The South, south east in Bloom judges will be visiting Sittingbourne on the 6th July and everyone can help to make this a gold year. They go on a tour of the town and everything they see counts in the judging, the whole town can join in by making their gardens, businesses, churches and schools beautiful. We need just four extra points this year to go from Silver-gilt to Gold."
