The face behind the new fashion empire on our high street

Today I was fortunate enough to meet with and take a tour of the new men’s fashion retailer Empire with owner Chris Staff.
With all the recent discussion relating to the lack of progress being made with the redevelopment of central Sittingbourne, I thought it would be good time to examine a business that is bucking the trend and is breathing life back into our High Street.
Firstly it is great to see a new store open in Sittingbourne and hopefully a very positive sign of things to come.
The business opened its doors in early December and Chris explained that business was better than he had expected in the run up to Christmas.
I spent a long time talking with Chris today, both on and off camera about his business and the most striking aspect of the entire conversation was Chris’s drive to provide good old fashioned customer service.
Obviously he is passionate about fashion, but there is also a desire to provide quality clothing at reasonable prices.
