Free ice cream for your input on regeneration plans

The Spirit of Sittingbourne, the group behind the regeneration of Sittingbourne are to commence their consultation period this Friday by giving away free ice creams in return for your opinions.
The Consortium has hired its own Mr Whippy Ice Cream Van which will be strategically placed in the middle of the Forum Car Park during Sittingbourne Market this Friday, 25 July.
To earn your free ‘99’ ice cream, you will be asked a few questions in the form of a two minute survey on how the town centre can be made into a better place.
Cllr Mike Cosgrove from Swale Borough Council commented:
‘The Spirit of Sittingbourne was formed with the single vision of making Sittingbourne a better place to live, breathing life into the High Street through innovation and regeneration. We are investing heavily in Sittingbourne and need help to transform the town centre for the better. So please come and tell us your thoughts about the scheme on Friday at the Market.'
This is the first of several consultation events which will follow throughout July and August which apparently may include a talking coffee machine. What Next?
