Sugarart Swale Sugarart is a club that meets in Bapchild Village Hall on the 1st Saturday of the month to develop skills in Cake Icing, cake decorating, sugar paste modelling and flower making.

Every other month we have an experienced demonstrator to show us their particular skills. On these days we meet from 2pm to 4pm with tea and cakes being served mid-afternoon.

On the alternative months we meet from 10am to 4pm. We have mid-morning coffee and lunch about 12 to 12:30 and then tea and cake mid-afternoon. On these days we are taught some kind of skill to do with cake decorating.

We cater for all levels of ability and help is always at hand.

We pay a yearly fee and an attendance fee depending  upon whether it is a whole day or half day. We have to charge these fees not only for the cost of food and hire of the hall, but also for the demonstrators. The fees also include the cost of the insurance whilst you are working in the Hall and also cover public liability if you sell a small quantity of cake.

The members are a friendly crowd and it is always good to see new faces at the classes.

If you have any questions please call Brenda Cooke on 01795 472594.
